North Northamptonshire is a unitary authority area in the East Midlands, established in 2021. It comprises the former districts of Corby, East Northamptonshire, Kettering, and Wellingborough. The area is characterised by market towns, rural villages, and former industrial centres, with a population of around 359,000. Corby has a strong Scottish heritage linked to its steelworks history.
